How much does a project manager cost in South Africa?
DBiLL charges a day rate, or a delivery management fee of 3 to 5 percent of project value with a success-linked component tied to milestone acceptance. On a R20 million programme that is R600,000 to R1,000,000 over its life, paid as your delivery and cash flow come right.
How quickly can a project manager start?
Within the week. The delivery lead arrives with tools, templates and method already built, so the first week produces a plan and a risk register rather than a discovery report.
Which sectors does DBiLL work in?
Mining and heavy industry (Anglo American businesses since 2012, Valterra Platinum, Kumba, De Beers), government ICT programmes (32 hospitals for Mpumalanga Health with Ndende Technologies, the Services SETA network refresh) and skills development. Construction project management, the SACPCMP regulated discipline, is outside the offer.
What does a PMO cost, and when is one not worth it?
A PMO pays when three or more projects run at once and the same reporting is being rebuilt for each. Below that, one accountable delivery lead is cheaper. DBiLL scopes a PMO in a two day assessment before quoting.
What is the difference between hiring a project manager and setting up a PMO?
A project manager delivers one project. A PMO makes delivery repeatable across all of them, with governance, standards and templates that your own people run once we leave.
