Who we are
DBiLL (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2018/047959/07, VAT number 4070287992, is the responsible party for the personal information described here. Our website is https://dbill.co.za.

What we collect, and why
When you send us an enquiry
Our contact form asks for your name, work email address, company, phone number, what you need help with, and your message. We use this only to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. The submission is stored in our website database and emailed to us. We do not sell it and we do not add you to a mailing list from it.
When you book a call
Our booking pages run on Cal.com. When you pick a time, Cal.com collects your name, email address and whatever you write in the booking notes, and creates a calendar invitation and a Google Meet link. Cal.com processes that information on our behalf under its own privacy terms.
When you visit
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. This records technical information such as your approximate location, device, browser, the pages you view and the site that referred you. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, we do not set them.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep the site working and record your cookie choice. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set with your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner, and you can clear cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that make this site work: our web host, our email delivery provider, Cal.com for bookings, and Google for analytics. Some of these process information outside South Africa. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We will disclose information if the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and booking records are kept for as long as we may still need them for the relationship they relate to, and for up to three years after our last contact with you, after which they are deleted. Where a business relationship results, records are kept for the periods required by South African tax and company law. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You may also object to processing. Write to thando@dbill.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge for a first request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforeg@justice.gov.za.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is limited to people who need it to do their work, and administrative access is protected by individual credentials that can be withdrawn.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
